Ablaze with colour.
The most amazing island sunset photography opportunities have been happening all this past week. Horseshoe Bay has been ablaze with colour. Just phenomenal.
Every day over the past 7 have had something special. I have been down to Horseshoe Bay each evening, whether I had a Sunset class or not. They were all just too good to miss.
There are currently some controlled burns going on in the hills around Horseshoe Bay, so the drifting smoke is also helping to make my island sunset photography sessions that bit more spectacular.
Many people have been out as the sun starts to drop behind the hill, most taking pictures. Unfortunately (for them) many leave too early, as the colours haven’t really even begun.
Whilst I was set up, sat alone and enjoying my shoot, one lady came over. “I think you look like you know what you’re doing, and you’re not leaving yet… So I should stick around too?” she asked. “Definitely, the coolers are still coming!” I told her.
About a half hour later, she come over to thank me, and proudly showed me the shots she was very glad to have stuck around for. Fantastic!
We have another cold snap coming in, and with these clear evenings we can expect a fair amount more of the wonderful reds, oranges and purples most nights, so if you’re keen to learn more about capturing the colours, please let me know.
I look forward to shooting some amazing images with you soon.
Happy snapping..!
Kobie.
