Croc Stock and Barra
Croc Stock and Barra are a fantastic new shop to the island. I had the pleasure of shooting their latest range of items for their website.
Aaron recently opened his latest Croc Stock and Barra shop here on Magnetic Island, and the range of beautiful items he has is amazing.
He’s a font of knowledge about all of it too. He is involved in the whole process from the hunt for problem crocodiles though to the final crafted piece.
Aaron asked me to help him photograph the latest items that he’d recently created. I love doing product photography, time consuming though it is. Once the backdrop and the lights are set up, the careful positioning of each item begins.
Framing and lighting the item to showcase it at its best is very important. Additionally, I was also able to shoot some macro detail shots.
A close up macro shot really makes for a detailed, strong and interesting image, showing off the amazing craftsmanship.
I look forward to collaborating on a few more shoots and projects with Aaron. Creative stuff seems to be strong in both of us, so I am sure we will come up with something new and cool!
If you’re keen to learn more about product photography, please contact me. I look forward to shooting some amazing images with you soon.
Happy snapping..!

Totally happy with the finished product and even more happy about the new connection I have with Kobie. I look forward to collaborating more in the future.
