Blue Magic
When you get the time right, there’s some blue magic to be seen!
I had a great evening recently, out shooting some long exposure images during the blue hour; Blue Magic, as one of my guests commented.
Two visitors to the island, André and Martina, who are also both doing their Divemaster course with the guys at Pleasure Divers joined me for the evenings shoot.
André was happy to observe what was being taught, whilst Martina had her own Canon with her. She was keen to get hands-on, shooting some great images whilst trying out my filters.
After a couple of hours over at Picnic Bay, we headed back to Horseshoe Bay.
The far end of the bay has little light pollution, so it’s a great spot for Milky Way Astro photography.
However, due to the large passing clouds, we didn’t try for star trails but we did have some fun with longer exposures again.
Over the next week, I will be out shooting the growing moon, and if conditions allow, the milky way. If this is something you’d be keen to try, please contact me.
I look forward to shooting some amazing images with you soon.
Happy snapping..!
Kobie.
